I'm wearing:

1. Oversized blazer as a cape in blue, from H&M.
2. Red and blue striped t-shirt, from Zara.
3. Super skinny jeans in gray, from Zara.
4. Mortimer suede desert boots, from Frank Wright.
5. Wooden mermaid necklace, from titiMadam.
6. Leather wrap-up bracelet in blue, from Coach.
7. Rings, from H&M.
the morning after 5 Hey there, friends! Since this month revolves all around the idea of "holidaze" (holidays + daze), I think it's appropriate to discuss a touchy subject: the morning after a party. Most of us have experienced that and it's quite awful. The night before, you were having the time of your life, dancing, maybe drinking, enjoying everything; on your way home, you kind of start feeling sleepy and tired; you get to your bed and all you want to do is sleep (but sometimes you have to work, like me, yay!); then you realize you have to wake up in less than 5 hours. The horror.

So, in the morning, you've turned into a zombie and a difficult decision strikes you: What are you going to wear to school/work? Dang. I'm going to confess something here, I usually wear most of the outfit I wore the night before. I do change pieces if they smell bad or something but it's mostly the same thing but a bit dressed down.

With this outfit, for example, I traded black pants for gray skinny jeans (cuffed) and I wore the blazer as a cape. The boots I had the night before were shiny leather ones and I replaced them with suede ones. I think it looks way more casual but still appropriate for the occasion. And, you wanna know the best thing? I was ready in 10 minutes because I didn't have to think that much. Haha. I think this is a perfectly good advice for holiday season: ADAPT YOUR OUTFITS THE MORNING AFTER, it's easy and you'll look great (even if the dark circles under your eyes try to say otherwise).

// ¡Hola, hola, amigos!

the morning after 3 the morning after 6 the morning after 2 the morning after 4 Love always,
Hen.
