Once in a blue moon 2 A big part of creating a personal brand is staying true to who you are, that includes every different aspect, side, mood swing, every part of you. For the longest time, I've complained about people who only decide to show one side of their personality or; even worse, those who cannot seem to find what their personal brand is about (you know, people who seem to be this way but later on look that way).

Let's translate that into an example. I wear shorts once in a blue moon, it's not that I dislike them but I only love them in certain outfits. Lately, I've been really into wearing shorts with hi-top sneakers and chunky socks, I like how that looks, (and by lately, I mean once per month or something like that). Anyhow, the other day, a blogger told me that it was really weird to see me in shorts and he wasn't the nicest person when he said it. And I thought, hey, I'm wearing shorts, alright, but I'm doing it in my own way, with my own flare and I think I still look like me, I'm still being true to who I am.

The 'shorts issue' is a small way of proving that your life includes a bunch of different characteristics, you're not a sphere, there's a lot of sides that you can show depending on your mood, the occasion, but the important thing is that you still look and feel like you, that your identifiable because you're staying faithful to who you are. It's okay to change once in a blue moon, just don't change too much, okay?
