UP MOVE by Jawbone Review (week 3-4)

Jawbone Up Move Review 5 Jawbone Up Move ReviewLast week I talked about the UP MOVE, the smart-coach-health-tracker by Jawbone and some of the features it has; I focused on what you can do on the app but now I want to showcase what the app can do for you. You can register what you eat, how many hours do you sleep and what kind of physical activity you do but the coolest thing is that the app will give you advice on how to live a better life.

When you input your sleep, there's a screen that tells you a bunch of facts about that and, while it's not 100% accurate, it does give you an input on your sleeping habits. For example, I realized that I spend a lot of time in bed thinking but not really resting. On the food side, I learnt that I eat a lot of sugar and not enough fiber and water. The UP MOVE will not make you a healthier person but it's an amazing wake-up call, something that will motivate you and guide you towards the best path for you.

Health is about balance: step, eat, sleep and live in balance today. That's one of the best tips I got from the UP app. It's about taking baby steps and slowly realizing what you do and the things you can do to improve your life. Once you get used to wearing the UP MOVE, you forget you're actually wearing it. It looks like a bracelet and that's pretty cool, you can even take showers without removing it. That's the easy part, the challenge is inside every single one of us. It's all on you and the choice of becoming healthy is extremely personal. Right now, I decide to be healthier. I feel like I'm on the right path.

Puedes registrar lo que coms, cuántas horas duermes y qué tipo de actividad física realizas pero, lo más padre, la app te da consejos para vivir mejor.

Cuando metes tu sueño, hay una pantallita que te dice muchos datos sobre eso y, tal vez no es 100% atinada pero te da una idea de tus hábitos de sueño. Por ejemplo, me di cuenta que paso mucho tiempo en cama pensando pero no realmente descansando. En el lado de la comida, aprendí que como mucha azúcar y no suficiente fibra y agua. El UP MOVE no te va a hacer una persona más saludable pero es una llamada de atención increíble, algo que te motivará y guiará hacia el mejor camino para ti.

La salud se trata de balance: moverse, comer, dormir y vivir en balance hoy. Ése es uno de los mejores tips que saqué de la app. Se trata de dar pequeños pasos y lentamente darse cuenta de lo que haces y lo que puedes hacer para mejorar tu vida. Una vez que te acostumbrar a usar el UP MOVE, se te olvida que de hecho lo traes puesto. Parece un brazalete y eso está padre, hasta te puedes bañar sin quitártelo. Ésa es la parte fácil, el desafío está dentro de cada uno. Somos nosotros y la elección de ser saludable es extremadamente personal. Ahora, yo decido invertir en mi salud. Siento que estoy en el camino correcto.
