I shot a video the other day talking about tips on how to have a better Instagram feed and one of the things I discussed, without planning it ahead, was the need to be nicer and kinder when it comes to interacting with each other and, if not that, at least, not being rude or nasty. We have enough bad things going on in our personal real offline lives, there's no need to deal with mean and hurtful comments online, you know?

I've never been one of those guys who do that, not even in the content of people I dislike; sure, I talk about it with my friends, or we make fun of whatever, whoever but I never write those hurtful things because I know that I don't like it when people do that to me. Putting ourselves online is a risk and I don't know if we're all aware of that; I think that, the moment you decide to make something public and go online with it, you need to know that good and bad stuff will come from that, kind and nasty comments, positive and negative response, you have to learn how to deal with that but, I wonder, what if we could reduce the amount of negativity?

That's what I mean when I say that we need to be nice and kind, it's easy. If we don't like something, we don't need to be salty about it, we could abstain from commenting that and it would be nice if we did. Building self-esteem is something that needs to be done offline, we shouldn't go to social media looking for validation and love, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't give those out to the world. So, why don't we run a little experiment? Next time we like something, let's give a kind comment and, also, the next time we see something we don't like, let's keep it offline, what do you say?
