Preppy Baseball

I'm wearing:

1. Cowl neck baseball hoodie in gray, from Asos.

2. Cut off denim shorts in light blue, selfmade. 

3. Chukka suede boots/sneakers in blue, from Vans. 

4. Reading glasses, from H&M.

I talked about (and showed) this sweatshirt in my varsity post, a couple weeks ago. It finally arrived and I really love it. It's super comfortable and, I don't know, it has something special about it (maybe it's the varsity feeling, maybe it's the baseball aspect of it...). I'm a shy fan of baseball, that means that I don't watch it very often, don't understand it very well but, still, love it. Every time I do get to see it, I go crazy. It's awesome.

Once I was at this baseball game, in a stadium, with a couple of friends and, although it was kind of a boring match, my friends couldn't understand how I was that excited. I just really love baseball, it has a magical aspect about it; it's the perfect balance between physical effort and strategy. You have to be quick both with your body and your mind. Again, it's awesome.

On the other hand, the shorts were also mentioned in my cut/ripped clothing post. My mom helped me cut them, of course, since I completely suck at crafts. I wish I was good, then I'd make my own clothes and stuff like that, but I'm not. Anyhow, they were made out of some jeans I wasn't wearing much and the result was fantastic. Seriously, if you own a pair of jeans that aren't working anymore, cut 'em. With the remains of the fabric, I plan to add some denim patches to a sweater, pictures will come soon. 

// Hablé sobre (y mostré) esta sudadera en mi post sobre moda varsity. Por fin llegó y la amo. Es muy cómoda y, no sé, tiene algo especial (quizá es esa sensación varsity, tal vez es la pelota de baseball). Soy un fan chafa del baseball, eso significa que no lo veo muy seguido, no lo entiendo tan bien pero, aún con eso, me encanta. Cada vez que realmente tengo la oportunidad de verlo, enloquezco. Es lo máximo.

Una vez estaba en un juego de baseball, en un estadio, con un par de amigos y, aunque el partido se puso aburrido, mis amigos no podían entender cómo yo estaba tan emocionado. En serio amo el baseball, tiene un aspecto mágico sobre sí; es el balance perfecto entre esfuerzo físico y estrategia. Tienes que ser rápido tanto con tu cuerpo como con tu mente. De nuevo, es lo máximo.

Por otro lado, los shorts también fueron mencionados anteriormente, en el post sobre ropa cortada/rota. Mi mamá me ayudó a cortarlos, por supuesto, porque soy malísimo para las manualidades. Desearía ser bueno, así podría hacer mi propia ropa y así, pero no lo soy. En fin, salieron de unos jeans que ya casi no usaba y el resultado fue fantástico. En serio, si alguien tiene por ahí unos jeans que ya no use tanto, debería cortarlos. Con los restos de tela, planeo añadirle unas coderas de mezclilla a un sweater, las fotos vendrán pronto.
