There's Light In Darkness.

I'm wearing:

1. Faux fur coat, from H&M.
2. Baroque print t-shirt, from Zara.
3.Black super skinny jeans, from Asos.
4. Wingtip sneakers, from Zara.
I've been around a lot of homesickness lately. I completely understand since the exchange semester has just passed the midway point but it hasn't helped me, emotionally speaking. I don't know if it's because the temperature is dropping or something but everyone around me seem to be losing their energy and good vibe. It reached a point where I was feeling sad and creating excuses for it. I was in a dark place.

Talking with my best friends made me realize there's light in darkness. I'm getting a lot of new experience and knowledge about life and that comes with a price. Sometimes this abroad thing is difficult, sometimes it's really amazing. So, here's the only solution I came up with: I'm saying goodbye to my old sadness and welcoming new, positive, energy.

Something similar happened when I bought this coat. I tried it on just for fun and realize that it was really great. I really loved it. But I was insecure about what other people would think when they saw me in it. At some point, a nice friend told me: SCREW THEM. If I like it, I should wear it. And I bought it without any regrets. I think is one of those funky pieces that really spice up an outfit. Paired with a baroque t-shirt and wingtip sneakers made me feel a little "Great Gatsby"; overall it was a fun outfit that shone through the darkness of a rainy day.

Si me gusta, debería usarlo.
Love always,
Hen.
