Welcome to Seoul!

 I'm wearing:

1. Biker leather jacket, from H&M.
2. 3/4 sleeve gray t-shirt, from Pull & Bear.
3. Cream jeans with black leather side straps, also from Pull & Bear.
4. Sequined sneakers, from Vans.
5. Waffled brown leather backpack, from a Korean store whose name I don't know!
6. Hair lock necklace, from Maison Martin Margiela.
7. Seven Dwarfs ring, thrift shop from L.A.
Being able to say that I live in Seoul is so crazy... I honestly never pictured myself saying that. I'm here for a semester thanks to an exchange student program, in Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), one of the oldest colleges in South Korea. I wish I could say that my Korean life is super exciting and that I've done a million fashion-related cool things but that's not really the case. Of course it's been one of the best experiences I've had in my life but, fashion-wise, I don't feel like much of an accomplisher. Nevertheless, there has been some cool locations for shooting photos and this marks the first one I'll share.

I'm on my school, actually; in the "old" campus that is kind of a museum now. It's quite beautiful. That's the outfit for my first day of classes and it's safe to say that not many Koreans (or people from all over the world) look like me. That's what I would wear for any day of school and I don't think is super special but most foreigners live out of shorts and flip-flops for no apparent reason. Sucks. And with Koreans you can tell they put a lot of effort in their daily outfits but I haven't been really impressed so far.

I found my backpack in a little Korean shop that's on my way to school. The saleswoman couldn't understand my English but was really nice and told me I looked good with that backpack (I tried on a few) and I really liked it. I've never seen one like it in Mexico and I loved the waffled brown leather mixed with the gold zippers. I hope you like it too and keep on visiting, because the Korean wave is arriving.

Love always,
Hen.
