Legacy (in collaboration with Gola Classics)

As humans, I believe we all dream of transcending, being memorable and remembered for something, standing out and conquering. Since the beginning of my blogging career, I've said that I want to do something big and be remembered for it, I don't know what that would be but I hope it's something great that allows me to leave a legacy behind, to be recognised for it. That was the dream back then and it still is nowadays.

Throughout this whole experience, I've battled with obscurity; with having no real advantage over my competition: I'm not a movie star, I'm not famous nor is anyone in my family, I'm not rich, I'm not super good looking... In many ways, I'm average and that has been a big obstacle in my life; but I'm not letting it defeat me, I depend on my talent, on my hard work and social skills to succeed, to create something for myself, to build my legacy. 

For this post, I'm teaming up with Gola Classics and they're celebrating 50 years of the Harrier trainers, that's incredible... To think that a shoe can transcend and still be relevant after five decades is nothing short of amazing and I'm glad I can be a part of the celebration. I chose a Made In England special edition model of the Harrier to feature here, with cool details (such as the UK flag and a gold G) in them, because I feel like it celebrates heritage, it celebrates legacy, dreams coming true and a journey that will keep on going. Desde el inicio de mi carrera com blogger, he dicho que quiero hacer algo grande y ser recordado por eso, no sé qué pueda ser eso pero espero que sea algo grandioso que me permita dejar atrás un legado, ser reconocido por eso. Ese era el sueño en ese entonces y aún lo es hoy en día. 

Durante toda esta experiencia, he luchado con la obscuridad; con no tener alguna ventaja real sobre mi competencia: no soy una estrella de cine, no soy famoso y nadie en mi familia lo es, no soy rico, no soy súper bien parecido... En muchas formas, soy parte del promedio y eso ha sido un gran obstáculo en mi vida; pero no voy a dejar que eso me derrote, dependo de mi talento, de mi trabajo duro y habilidades sociales para tener éxito, para crear algo para mí, construir mi legado.

Para este post, estoy haciendo equipo con Gola Classics y ellos están celebrando 50 años de los tennis Harrier, eso es increíble... Pensar que un zapato puede trascender y aún ser relevante después de cinco décadas es algo asombroso y estoy feliz de poder ser parte de la celebración.
