Trump Card (in collaboration with Dirty Velvet)

I'm wearing:

Trump card, a valuable resource, often a surprise, used to gain an advantage, to win at life. I like winning, haha, always have; I remember being in elementary school and being super competitive at everything, so much that my teachers would tell my mom and dad that there was something wrong with me and that I didn't know how to be a team player... They never really listened to them and I'm glad about that. 

Things are sort of different now, I'm still competitive (I'll always will be) but it sucks when you can't control the scenario you are competing in. I feel like I do a really good job when it comes to personal style, the way I present myself, my content (here and on YouTube) and everything, but success doesn't knock on my door that often, people with way worse videos and photos get ahead of me and that makes me feel a bit vulnerable and uneasy. 

But I do have hope, you know? I've been doing this for a long time and I'm not ready to give up. It's only a matter of time before I finally throw a boomerang that will come back to me and hit the jackpot. My trump card is my tenacity, ambition and my focus on being the best possible version of me and that, my friends, will be rewarded one day, I'm sure of it. As long as we keep on knocking hard, one door will eventually open and; when we get the jumpstart we need, we'll conquer the world. 

// La carta del triunfo, un recurso importante, a veces sorpresivo, usada para tener una ventaja, para ganar en la vida. Me gusta ganar, jaja, siempre ha sido así; recuerdo estar en escuela primaria y ser súper competitivo en todo, tanto que mis profesores les decían a mis papás que había algo mal conmigo y que no sabía ser parte de un equipo... Ellos nunca les hicieron caso y me da gusto eso, jaja.

Las cosas son un poquito diferentes ahora, sigo siendo competitivo (siempre voy a ser así) pero es horrible cuando no puedes controlar el escenario en el que compites. Siento que hago un buen trabajo cuando se rata de estilo personal, la forma en que me presento, mi contenido (aquí y en YouTube) y todo, pero el éxito no llega a mi puerta muy seguido, gente con videos o fotos mucho más peores que los míos me llevan la delantera y eso me hace sentir un poquito vulnerable y con malestar.

Pero tengo esperanza, ¿saben? He estado haciendo esto por mucho tiempo y no estoy listo para rendirme. Es cuestión de tiempo hasta que tire un boomerang que regrese a mí y demos en el blanco. Mi carta triunfal es mi tenacidad, ser ambicioso y estar enfocado en ser la mejor versión de mí que pueda y eso, mis amigos, va a ser recompensado algún día, estoy seguro. Siempre y cuando nos mantengamos tocando puertas, alguna eventualmente se abrirá y; cuando tengamos el empuje que necesitamos, vamos a conquistar el mundo.
