Light + Darkness

I'm a night person; for some reason, I always find peace in darkness, in solitude, in the shadows. Regardless, I also love reflections and that amazing phenomenon only happens when there's light. In darkness there's light and in light there's darkness. One small spark can brighten up any place and it takes a small darkness batch to corrupt even the brightest souls. 

This is the first post on a series called "Life Journal", one of the new sections I promised on this month's editor letter. I'll share bits of my life, my everyday thoughts, my journals. I hope you enjoy this new side of the blog and share your ideas with me. Ask me questions if there's anything you'd like to know, I'm all ears.

// Soy una persona nocturna; por alguna razón, siempre encuentro paz en la obscuridad, en estar solo, en las sombras. Sin embargo, también amo los reflejos y ese increíble fenómeno sólo sucede cuando hay luz. En la obscuridad hay luz y en la luz hay obscuridad. Una pequeña chispa puede hacer todo más brillante y sólo se requiere una pizca puede corromper hasta las almas con más brillo.

Éste es el primer post en una serie llamada "Life Journal", una de las nuevas secciones que prometí en la carta del editor de este mes.
