Number Ten The Wind Master 6 What does it mean to be a wind master? On a previous post, I talked about thinking like a sailor, that makes departures easier. And now I'm having another one of my good metaphorical moments and I was thinking about wind, you know, air currents and all that stuff. Can you imagine being able to control and master the winds? I mean, you would be able to fly, that alone would me amazing.

But physics aside, because I suck at physics, science and making sense... I was thinking that we should learn how to master the wind, our own emotional wind. Think about it, it's a really good metaphor: everything travels with the wind, why shouldn't we? Why shouldn't we learn how to let go of people and see them ride the air currents to new horizons? Why shouldn't we fly off places and reach new heights, new worlds?

Being a wind master is one of my goals for next year. For real. I want to be way more emotionally intelligent, be savvier when it comes to dealing with people and my own feelings. I think it's a way more realistic goal compared to losing weight and quit drinking and other nonsense like that. What do you think about this? Do you agree with my newly found metaphor or do you think maybe I shouldn't have taken those three Xanax in the bathtub and write this post... You be the judge.
