Eclipse 3
An eclipse can be defined as an obscuring of the light from one celestial body by the passage of another between it and an observer or between that body and its source of illumination. Eclipses one of those things that can become an amazing metaphor; think about it: it's a moment where light and darkness meet and one partially covers the other, both become one and, although they're not joint, the observers perceive them as one body.

Life is a lot like that too; I've seen so many TV shows and movies dealing with the idea that we have some darkness inside of us that obscures our inner light, something that affects our minds and personalities and make us go into strange places, dangerous areas. On a recent post I was discussing how you can feel both happy and sad at the same time and still be okay, still love yourself. I think the same thing happens with our lighter/darker sides, it's important to embrace the best and the worst and learn to be okay with that.

In the past, I was a mean kid, I enjoyed having power over people and, looking back, I didn't like myself very much. I'm a lot different now, being nice is one of my main approaches towards life but still, from time to time, the darkness emanates from its deep sleep and I go a little crazy. I've been learning to control that by being nicer but I've also noticed how people mistrusts nice people nowadays, they don't believe it's genuine. I guess the best way to face the eclipse is with honesty, being true about who you are and loving the good and the bad, the darkness and the light.
