Is Travelling Really a Good Investment?

I think we've all heard it before: travelling is the best thing ever, it's the greatest investment in yourself... But is it? I think yes isn't always the answer. Travelling comes with amazing experiences, knowledge and personal growth but it also takes a toll on you. It can cause anxiety, depression and a sense of belonging nowhere, at least that's what has happened to me in the past. So, let me tell you this: smart travelling is a really good investment, but not all the trips you make in life fall in that category.

Save up and travel by yourself, go some place exotic. Take a trip to a place that enriches and nourishes your soul and brain. Stop taking all the small chances available to leave your city and focus on the good opportunities, maybe those trips that require going a bit further away. Those are the trips that will make you grow, that will give you courage to go back home and face the world with a smarter, better strategy. Invest in good travelling and stop doing silly trips that get forgotten easily.

Ahorra y viaja solo, ve a algún lugar exótico. Viaja a lugares que te enriquezcan y nutran tu alma y cerebro. Deja de tomar todas las pequeñas oportunidades de dejar la ciudad y concéntrate en las buenas oportunidades, quizá esos viajes que requieren ir un poco más lejos. Esos son los viajes que te harán crecer, que te darán el valor y valentía de regresar a casa y enfrentar al mundo con una estrategia mejor, más inteligente. Invierte en buenos viajes y deja de hacer pequeñas tontas excursiones que se olvidan fácilmente.
