The Devil Is A Part-Timer

One of the things I love most about anime is that the episodes are short, usually around 20-23 minutes; I like to watch something when I have a meal but I eat fast and, being honest, I'm always in a rush and arriving late everywhere, haha; I can easily watch one episode while eating and still feel like I'm not wasting much time. I tend watch shows with action, magic or stuff like that but, from time to time, I really enjoy a funny anime, that's how I found The Devil is a Part-Timer.

At first glance, it's the story of how a devil overlord (Satan) from a different dimension and one of his minions end up in Tokyo, with a hero of justice after them... But it's so much more. I loved this anime because it's unexpected, it really takes what you think about stereotypically good and evil characters and twist it within funny scenarios. It's the perfect mix between fantasy, action and comedy. The downside is that it's only 13 episodes long, the ending feels inconclusive and there are no plans for a second season. Still, it's definitely worth watching, I guarantee you won't regret it.

Tiendo a ver programas con acción, magia o cosas así pero, de vez en cuando, realmente disfruto un anime de comedia, así fue como encontré The Devil is a Part-Timer.

A primera vista, es la historia de cómo un rey diablo (Satanás) de otra dimensión y uno de sus súbditos terminan en Tokyo, con una heroína de la justicia tras ellos... Pero es mucho más que eso. Amé este anime porque es inesperado, en serio toma todo lo que piensas de personajes estereotipicamente buenos y malos y lo tergiversa en escenarios muy chistosos. Es la mezcla perfecta entre fantasía, acción y comedia. Lo malo es que sólo tiene 13 episodios, el final se siente inconcluso y no hay planes para una segunda temporada. Aún así, súper vale la pena verlo, les garantizo que no se arrepentirán.
