There is a boy here who is to teach us to fly

I'm wearing:

1. Striped V-neck sweater in brown, from Pull & Bear.

2. Skinny jeans in blue, from Zara.

3. Oxford shoes in brown, from Pull & Bear.

4. Scarf with printed horses, also from Pull & Bear.

I'm running out of Peter Pan quotes-titles. That only means new inspiration's coming soon. Lately, all I can think about is Downton Abbey, this cool British period drama. I finished the first season in two weeks and started the second one a few days ago. It's really, really, good, even though is soapy and, sometimes, cheesy. The acting is quite superb and the art direction takes your breath away; seriously, if you're not already watching it, you should; even a person standing next to a bench looks like a painting. Amazing.

Addictions aside, this was my Valentine's Day look. I needed to look extra good in order to forget that I don't have a girlfriend. Real fun. The cool thing was that, at the end of the day, I spend quality time with my friend Sand (even after she didn't want to shoot her look) and, at least in Mexico, Valentine's Day is also about friendship. The photos were all about funny faces, you know, being quirky and having fun with it, it was awesome.

Moving onto my outfit, I really, really, really like my scarf, I love horses and, up until now, I haven't found anything cool enough with horses on it, but, this one caught my eye and I think it looks cool with the sweater and the preppy oxford shoes.

Últimamente sólo puedo pensar en Downton Abbey, una serie británica de época súper buena onda. Terminé la primera temporada en dos semanas e inicié la segunda hace un par de días. Es muy, muy, muy buena (aunque a veces es telenovelera y cursi). Las actuaciones son excelentes y la dirección de arte me hace babear. En serio, si alguien no la está viendo, debería empezar ya; hasta una escena de alguien parado junto a una banca parece una pintura. Wow.

Quitando mis adicciones, esto fue lo que me puse en San Valentín. Quería verme bien para olvidar que no tengo novia en este día. Súper divertido. Lo padre fue que pasé tiempo de calidad con mi amiga Sand (aún cuando no quiso tomarse fotos) y, al menos en México, San Valentín también se trata de amistad. Las fotos se trataron de hacer caras y muecas chistosas, ya saben, ser raro y divertiste con eso. Estuvo bien padre.

Moviéndonos hacia mi atuendo, realmente me gusta mucho esta bufanda, tengo un amor especial por los caballos y, hasta ahora, no había podido encontrar algo lo suficientemente bonito con caballos, pero, esta bufanda me atrapó y creo que se ve bien con el sweater y los zapatos oxford clásicos.
