Pull&Bear Fall-Winter 2012/2013 Campaign

In these past few weeks, a lot of friends and fellow bloggers have been talking about the new Zara campaign and its videos; I really liked it, but, I feel that the Pull&Bear campaign is amazing too and hasn't been discussed that much. I especially love the rain scenes and the slow-motion windy ones.

I've always liked the Pull&Bear campaigns (A LOT) and this isn't the exception. I feel like a "Skins-ish" vibe and, well, Skins is one of my favourite shows of all time. The black and white is very appropriate for the fall and winter seasons, since it's chilly but in a cool way. There's also a few models whose work I really like (Will Higginson and Jade McSorley, for example) in the video. Hehe.

// En las últimas semanas, muchos amigos y compañeros bloggeros han hablado mucho de la nueva campaña que lanzó Zara y los videos que trajo consigo; me gustó mucho pero siento que Pull&Bear también sacó algo increíble que no ha sido tan comentado. Especialmente, me gustan las escenas de lluvia y las de viento en cámara lenta.

Siempre me han gustado MUCHÍSIMO las campañas que saca Pull&Bear y ésta no fue la excepción. Tiene una vibra como de Skins y, bueno, Skins es una de mis series favoritas en la historia. La onda blanco y negro es muy apropiada para las estaciones otoño e invierno porque hace frío pero es frío padre. Además, en el video, aparecen un par de modelos cuyo trabajo me gusta mucho (Will Higginson y Jade McSorley, por ejemplo). Jeje.

I think that is very important to know who the models on campaigns are. At the end of the day, they make a lot of the magic in the fashion world possible (of course, teaming up with photographers, designers, stylists and everyone else involved in the process). So here they are, Google'em up, see their work and, most importantly, keep an eye on Pull&Bear campaigns, they're really raising the bar lately.

Así que aquí están; hay que Googlearlos, ver su trabajo y, aún más importante, mantener la vista en Pull&Bear, en serio están poniendo el ejemplo últimamente.

Glass walls

 I'm wearing:

1. Black hoodie, from Pull & Bear.

2. Long sleeve gray t-shirt, from Zara. 

3. Aqua jeans, from Zara. 

4. Space boots, from Adidas. 

5. Striped scarf, from Pull & Bear.

6. Crosses, spike and chains necklace, from Asos. 

This summer's weather has been crazy. It rains on monday, tuesday and; wednesday's sunny and hot; thursday is so cold that you wish you had a Snuggie; friday's rainy again and yeah, you get the point, right?

So, originally, this look didn't include the hoodie but it was a really cold outside and I kinda needed it. I tried to braid my scarf to make it look cooler but it turned out looking like a thick choker, I had to un-braid it. Awful.

I think cloudy days deserve pops of color and that's where the aqua jeans go front and center, I added the elaborate necklace to make the whole look more complex. I also feel like the orange bougainvilleas give a cool contrast.

// El clima de este verano ha sido una locura. Llueve un lunes, martes también; el miércoles es caluroso y con mucho sol; el jueves hace tanto frío que mueres por tener una Snuggie; los viernes llueve otra vez y creo que se entiende el punto ¿no?

Originalmente, este atuendo no incluía la chamarra pero hacía mucho mucho frío afuera y, pues, la necesitaba. Traté de trenzar mi bufanda para que se viera buena onda pero el trenzado terminó pareciendo una gargantilla gorda y tuve que deshacerlo. TERRIBLE.

Creo que los días nublados ameritan la incorporación de color y ahí es donde los jeans aqua entran al juego. Añadí el collar elaborado para hacer el atuendo más complejo. También, siento que las bugambilias naranjas en el fondo dan un contraste padre.
