If your an assiduous reader of this blog, you'll know that I love winter, cold weather, snow, trembling and all that jazz. Well, imagine my surprise when I come back to Mexico in the middle of a heat wave; I truly hate the sun, get tanned, sweating, everything involved with warmer temperatures... So, as usual, I'm protesting against Mother Nature by wearing an outfit that's heavily composed with leather pieces. I can maintain my coolness, stay fresh, even with 28ºC waves hitting me as I walk.

I saw this brick/stone wall near my house and thought it looked really cool, like a giraffe print. I felt it would make a nice balance with my black and white outfit and the print on my t-shirt. Moving onto that, I've always loved a good oversized piece and I love how these kinds of shirts are appearing to destroy the kingdom of cropped tops (which I heavily despise).

I think it's a really cool t-shirt to pair with a vest, given that the sleeves are longer and deserve to be seen. The key with oversized garments is that they have to give the feeling that they're meant to be that way and not that you stole that thing from your 300 pound uncle (I have one, really); super skinny jeans always look great with bigger top pieces and, as I said before, the leather and steel are part of my rebellion against the heat wave. MUST.STAY.FRESH.

MUST.STAY.FRESH.
Do you also protest against Mother Nature? Tell me all about it.
Love always,
Henry.
