Longchamp Autumn Winter 2014.

This week, I was invited to see the newest collection from Longchamp. I must admit that I wasn't familiarized with the brand prior to this showcase but after seeing everything, I quickly began to like its aesthetic and everything around it. Sure, it's mostly for women but there are some really cool unisex pieces (like bags) and I think it's also important for us guys to see what the girls are wearing. We all have (or want to have) girlfriends, right?

So, what I really loved about Longchamp was the simplicity of the silhouettes and, also, the air of sophistication meeting classic lines and patterns. It's all about having a basic/versatile something but having it being classic and magnificent. 

The latest collection draws inspiration from the Parisian woman and the Sena river. The colors and prints are present in every piece: bags, dresses, shoes, everything. Between tea and pastries, these were some of my favorite pieces, including a bag for men. Hopefully, Longchamp will start producing more and more lines for guys soon.

Debo admitir que no estaba familiarizado con la marca antes de esto pero, después de ver todo, rápidamente me gustó su estética y todo alrededor. Claro, es casi enteramente para mujeres pero hay un par de piezas unisex (maletines) buena onda y creo que también es importante para nosotros hombres ver qué están usando las mujeres. Todos tenemos (o queremos tener) novias, ¿cierto?

Entonces, lo que realmente amé de Longchamp fue la simplicidad en siluetas y, también, el aire de sofisticación que al mismo tiempo es clásico en líneas y patrones. Se trata de tener algo básico/versátil que al mismo tiempo es clásico y magnifico. 

La colección más reciente halla su inspiración en la mujer Parisina y el río Sena. Los colores y estampados están presentes en todas las piezas: bolsas, vestidos, zapatos, todo. Entre té y pastelitos, éstas fueron algunas de mis piezas favoritas, incluyendo un maletín para hombres. Espero que, en el futuro, Longchamp empiece a producir más y más cosas para hombre.
