November: Time For Classics

Life is filled with challenges...

Last month was particularly hard for me and I allowed the situations and challenges I faced defeat me, I gave up and let myself drown... But that had to stop and, in certain ways, it has. So, I'm choosing to focus on being the best version of myself I can be, of soaring high and working on my emotional well being.

I was talking to a blogger friend the other day and she said something that I feel it's very valuable, she talked about going back to basics and remembering why we started our blogs and the mission we had back then. For November, I chose the theme Classics, because I realised that it's important to honour the things that worked for us in the past and the mission we took on back when we started doing what we do.

For me, a classic is an idea that never goes out of style (and I'm not only referring to fashion here); the spectrum is big and the hues are endless. The subjects I'll be addressing throughout this month will revolve around that, going back to basics and honouring the classics. I will work really hard to make this a good month in terms of content and I hope to surprise you once or twice with the ideas that I will come up with. La vida está llena de desafíos... 

El mes pasado fue particularmente difícil para mí y permití que las situaciones y los desafíos que enfrenté me derrotaran. Me rendí y me ahogué en eso... Pero tuve que ponerle un alto y, en cierta forma, lo he logrado. Así que estoy eligiendo concentrarme en ser la mejor version de mí, en volar a lo alto y trabajar en mi bienestar emocional.

Estaba platicando con una amiga blogger el otro día y me digo algo que siento es muy valioso, habló de volver a las raíces y recordar porqué comenzamos con nuestros blogs y la misión que teníamos en aquel entonces. Para noviembre, decidí que el tema fuera Clásicos, porque me di cuenta que es importante honrar las cosas que funcionaron bien para nosotros en el pasado y la misión que tomamos allá en el día cuando comenzamos a hacer lo que hacemos.

Para mí, un clásico es una idea que jamás pasa de moda (y no sólo hablo de ropa aquí); el espectro es muy grande y los matices interminables. Las cosas de las que estaré hablando durante este mes girarán en torno a eso, regresar a las raíces y honrar los clásicos. Voy a trabajar muy duro para hacer que este mes tenga muy buen contenido y espero poder sorprenderlos un par de veces con las ideas que plasmaré aquí.
