There's something going on everywhere we go. I might or might not just quoted an old song by Hilary Duff, but the meaning is real and still relevant. We spend most of our time "living" and I'm quoting the word because I'm using it to say that we go, day to night, Monday to Sunday, doing lots of things yet appreciating and acknowledging only a few.

Don't get me wrong, I bet and know lots of you make the most out of every single situation and that's amazing but; we're human, we take many things for granted and sleep on so many others. I know that because I do it quite often but I think it's time for us (or me at least) to wake up and start seeing what's out there, start appreciating more, start doing everything with a bit more passion. That thought hit me hard when I went to Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago (where I shot this look), because my step-dad said something like: people here are crazy, they're bored and all they do is redecorate their homes. And you know what? That's something I'd like to do, there's nothing wrong with that.

A few years ago, when I was in school, I was a bit more adventurous, a little more passionate... Routine and daily practices have tamed me down, I hate that. Realising that was an awakening moment, I still need to take things seriously but I have to look at them from a different angle, bring back my creative self, open my eyes and start seeing the world out there. I don't know exactly how to do that yet but I'll start by being woke, by staying awake, by trying to live more.

wake up 5 wake up 4 wake up 2 Love always,
Henry.
