Legion

You know how some shows go really deep into psychological issues and stuff like that? Could you imagine having that but in the X-Men universe? That’s Legion. A show about Charles Xavier’s (Professor X and founder of the X-Men) son; a man called David Haller, who has struggled with mental issues, anger problems and substance abuse. If the premise of this show sounds dark, that's because it is. It’s heavy, somber and twisted (with some lighter and funny moments caught in between).

I’ve been a big X-Men fan since I was little; I watched another related show called The Gifted (which features certain other characters from the comics and it’s awesome in its own way) and that kind of re-sparked my love for this Marvel franchise. Legion starts slow, a bit tedious even, but it quickly picks up the pace and becomes a really really cool and interesting show to watch. If you’re a fan of suspense, mental distress and the X-Men, you’ll love Legion.

Si la premisa de esta serie suena obscura, es porque así es. Es pesado, sombrío y retorcido (con algunos momentos más livianos y graciosos en la mezcla).

He sido muy fan de los X-Men desde que era niño; vi otro show similar llamado The Gifted (que muestra varios otros personajes de los cómics y, en su propio terreno, está muy padre) y eso como que revivió mi amor por esta franquicia de Marvel. Legion comienza lento, incluso algo tedioso, pero rápidamente agarra el ritmo y se convierte en una serie muy padre e interesante para ver. Si eres fan del suspenso, la tortura mental y los X-Men, vas a amar Legion.
