Hey friends! Are you familiar with the expression "dirty laundry"? It refers to certain information or secrets you don't want people to find out. People airing your dirty laundry is something that happens quite often nowadays and, frankly, it sucks. I believe we are entitled to certain secrecy, not everything needs to be exposed, and certainly, your secrets are yours to tell, otherwise they wouldn't be secrets at all.
Ever since high school, I started to hang out with more people (I was kind of socially awkward before) and that made me realize something: sometimes people want to air their dirty laundry. You have no idea how much information and secrets I was able to gather simply because people wanted to confide in me. That has followed me and it's funny how I have all this intel but I don't really want to talk about it. I don't like gossip and, again, their secrets are theirs to tell, that's not my job.
When the guys from Ken Wroy, a really cool underwear brand from New York, approached me for this collaboration I said "Sure! Let's do it!" But I didn't quite realize at the time that I had to feature actual underwear, that's intimidating. I wanted to get creative for this photos; I wasn't just going to get semi-naked and show the boxer briefs, you know? I wanted a concept and this dirty laundry airing seemed like a cool idea, don't you think? The briefs, by the way, are extremely comfortable and adapt to your body without irritating the skin by pulling up. They're really cool; be sure to check Ken Wroy's website and order yourself a good ol' pair of undies.
// ¡Hey amigos!
Love always,
Henry.
