I'm an airhead. Oh wow!: The Explorer (featuring Frank Wright Shoes)

Sometimes you just have to say YES. A few weeks ago, some of my Instagrammer friends and I were planning a trip to a nearby city, something I badly needed (I have to admit), and things didn't necessarily happened as I planned but you know what? Everything turned out more than fine and even when I couldn't accomplish every single thing I wanted to do (like snap four outfit shoots... I only got two), I learned that it's important to let go from now and then and embrace your adventurous side, the explorer within you.

At some point during the trip, we went to this crazy cool open-air train museum and I think it was one of my favourite parts of the whole thing; even when the heat was almost unbearable and we were a bit hungover from the night before (!), things flowed nicely and we all got the chance to snap great photos. These were done in partnership with Frank Wright, one of my favourite shoe brands, and it felt great to take these boots with me and explore the abandoned old trains.

I don't know how to properly describe what I felt during that trip, it was a mixture between the excitement of meeting new people and the pressure of getting everything done in time. I had some great moments during that weekend and we laughed ALL THE TIME, that made everything feel right. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that, if it feels right with you, embracing your inner explorer and saying yes more often can definitely broaden your horizons and make you feel like great things are still ahead.

// A veces simplemente hay que decir SÍ. Hace un par de semanas, algunos de mis amigos Instagrammers y yo planeamos un viaje a Puebla, una ciudad cercana, algo que necesitaba terriblemente (tengo que admitir), y las cosas no necesariamente pasaron como me habría gustado pero, ¿saben? Todo terminó saliendo más que bien y aún cuando no pude lograr todo lo que quería (como tomar foto de cuatro atuendos... Sólo pude con dos), aprendí que es importante dejarse ir de vez en cuando y abrazar nuestro lado aventurero, el explorador que vive dentro de nosotros.

En algún momento durante el viaje, fuimos a este museo abierto de trenes súper padres y creo que fue uno de mis momentos favoritos de todo lo sucedido; aún cuando el calor era casi insoportable y estábamos un poco crudos de la noche anterior (!), las cosas fluyeron bien y todos tuvimos oportunidad de sacar grandes fotos. Éstas fueron hechas en colaboración con Frank Wright, una de mis marcas favoritas de zapatos, y se sintió muy bien llevar estas botas conmigo y explorar los trenes abandonados.

No sé cómo describir propiamente lo que sentí durante ese viaje, es una mezcla entre la emoción de conocer gente nueva y la presión de tener todo hecho a tiempo. Tuve algunos momentos grandiosos durante ese fin de semana y nos reímos TODO EL TIEMPO, eso hizo que todo se sintiera bien. Supongo que lo que trato de decir aquí es que, si se siente correcto para ti, abrazar tu explorador interno y decir sí más seguido puede definitivamente ampliar tus horizontes y hacerte sentir que cosas grandiosas aún vienen en camino.
