The City (in partnership with Frank Wright)

Back to the beginning... I was thinking about the first couple of shoots I did when I started this blog, I'm always looking for cool spots to shoot nowadays, like, special places but, back in the day, I was happy with any sort of city backdrop. I realise now that it was because of my deep love and connection with big cities. I'm a city boy, there's no denying that, I like how crazy, hectic and busy they always are.

For this photo shoot, I wanted to go back to that, to my roots, so I chose a part of the city that's in the middle of the street, always busy, with cars, traffic, people, I wanted to surround myself with that energy and nurture with it. Yes, I love nature and natural backdrops, I also like the suburbs and the quiet vibe they have but big cities are something else, something special, there's always something going on, they're awake.

Thinking about those shoots, of course I remembered my first few collaborations with brands and Frank Wright has been one that remains with me until this very day. I'm wearing shoes from their newest collection and, as usual, they make me really happy (check their shoes here). It's all very nostalgic and there's a peculiar feeling about nostalgia, it's always different, it's always rearranging, just like the city, that feels very original in a sense, it's always special, always creating something.

// De vuelta al inicio...  Estaba pensando en las primeras sesiones de fotos que hice cuando inicié este blog. Ahora siempre trato de encontrar lugares/escenarios padres para fotos, que sean especiales, pero, allá en el día, me ponía feliz con cualquier vista de ciudad. Ahora me doy cuenta que era por mi amor profundo y la conexión que tengo con las grandes ciudades. Soy un niño de ciudad, no se puede negar, me gusta la locura, caos y movimiento que siempre tienen.

Para esta sesión de fotos, quise regresar a eso, a mis raíces, así que elegí una parte de la ciudad que está en medio de la calle, siempre ocupada, con coches, tráfico, gente, quise rodearme de esa energía y nutrirme con ella. Sí, amo la naturaleza y los paisajes naturales, también me gustan los suburbios y esa vibra tranquila que tiene pero las grandes ciudades son otra cosa, algo especial, siempre sucede algo, están despiertas. 

Pensando en esas fotos, claro que me acordé de mis primeras colaboraciones con marcas y Frank Wright ha sido una de las que se han quedado conmigo hasta este día. Estoy usando zapatos de su nueva colección y, como siempre, me hacen muy feliz (vean sus zapatos aquí). Es todo muy nostálgico y hay un sentimiento particular con la nostalgia: siempre es diferente, siempre se está reacomodando, justo como la ciudad, eso se siente muy original en cierta forma, siempre es especial, siempre creando algo.
