Meet Me Under The Cherry Blossom Tree

Living in Asia was pretty great, the best time of my life. I got the chance to see and feel snow for the very first time, to watch the trees go from green to yellow and every color in between for autumn but the one thing I couldn't see was the cherry blossom tree. I wasn't there during spring and that's the only time of the year when the sakura flowers blossom.

Regardless, I know that I'll be able to see those trees blooming one day, it's something I have to do, a dream I need to fulfill. I think cherry blossom trees are like a poem, a beautiful poem, and I crave to live amazing stories with them as background. It's going to happen some day, I just need to play my cards right and wait. Wait until you can meet me under the cherry blossom tree.

Sin embargo, sé que algún día podré ver esos árboles floreciendo, es algo que tengo que hacer, un sueño que necesito cumplir. Creo que los cerezos son como un poema, un hermoso poema, y ansío vivir historias impresionantes con ellos como escenario. Sucederá un día, sólo necesito jugar bien mis cartas y esperar. Esperar hasta que puedas encontrarte conmigo bajo el cerezo.

Benetton On Canvas

A few days ago I was invited to a reopening of a United Colors of Benetton boutique, it was awesome. I like the brand but I always saw it as a must for basics, you know? You go into the store and there's a carousel with pieces in every color available and stuff like that. My favorite pieces were always from the online shop and, for some reason or the other, those never were at the physical store.

The new concept store is called "Benetton On Canvas" and it features a much cleaner space with fabric panels, everything in neutral creamy colors and with all those garments I always thought "lost". The result is a pretty cool store, easy to navigate and super modern to look at. Good job, Benetton, kudos to you!

Me gusta la marca pero siempre la vi como un básico de básicos, ¿saben? Vas a la tienda y hay un carrusel con piezas en todos los colores y así. Mis cosas favoritas siempre eran de la tienda online y, por alguna razón, nunca estaban en la tienda física.

La nueva concept store se llama "Benetton On Canvas" y lo que hicieron es crear un espacio mucho más limpio con telares, todo en colores neutrales-crema y con todas esas prendas que siempre pensé "perdidas". El resultado es una tienda muy padre, fácil de navegar y súper moderna a la vista. Buen trabajo Benetton, ¡felicidades!

April will be challenging

April's here, it's time to make some changes... 

I have a big project coming up this month that really excites me; but I won't be telling you just yet, you'll have to wait for the official announcement. That's why I wanted April to revolve around challenges; March was about setting goals and now I want to take on some risks and do things for the thrill of the hunt, you know, the endless quest for success.

A challenge is all about engaging in some activity, looking for something, aiming to achieve it. This month you'll see that every post includes some of that philosophy. I realized that I was a bit bored with my life and that's not okay at all, I need something to get me back on the field, you know? Something that excites me, motivates me, all that jazz.

As usual, there's a playlist to go along with the new theme (which I hope you enjoy) and, asides from a special surprise this month, everything will keep moving with the same pace (although, I will try to post more often): daily outfits; events; book club material; life journals; that's all part of me now and it's a part that hasn't bored me yet, haha, so expect to see more of those sections. And to wrap this up, I want to say thanks once again for still being here after all this time, it means the world to me.

Abril está aquí, es momento de algunos cambios... 

Tengo un proyecto grande aproximándose este mes y eso me emociona mucho; pero no les contaré todavía, tendrán que esperar por el anuncio oficial. Por eso quise que abril girara en torno a desafíos; marzo se trató de poner metas y ahora quiero tomar algunos riesgos y hacer cosas por la emoción de la caza, ya saben, la interminable lucha por éxito.

Un desafío se trata de entrar a alguna actividad, buscar algo, planeando conseguirlo. Este mes verán que cada post incluye algo de esa filosofía. Me di cuenta que estaba un poco aburrido con mi vida y eso no está para nada bien, necesito algo para volver al ruedo, ¿saben? Algo que me emocione, que me motive y todas esas cosas.

Como siempre, hay una lista de canciones que van acorde con el nuevo tema (que espero disfruten) y, quitando la sorpresa especial de este mes, todo seguirá moviéndose al mismo ritmo (aunque espero poder postear cosas más seguido): atuendos diarios, eventos, material para club del libro, diarios de vida; todo eso es parte de mí ahora y es una parte que no me ha aburrido aun, jaja; así que esperen ver más de esas secciones. Y para terminar con esto, quiero decir gracias otra vez por aún estar aquí después de todo este tiempo. Significa el mundo para mí.
