What makes a good relationship (any kind of relationship, from friendship to romantic interests) possible? I believe that it has something to do with electricity; it's about feeling a connection that starts with a spark and evolves into energy, into power. Think about the people that you love: family, friends, girlfriends and boyfriends... We care about them because they make us feel special, they makes us feel something that no one else can, they create sparks.
Electricity is defined as a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles, either by a current or by an accumulation of static, that's what science says but; there's a second meaning to electricity, a more poetic one if you ask me: it's a state or feeling of thrilling excitement. That's what we feel when we see our loved ones, when we're able to spend time with these special individuals.
The day we stop feeling electricity, stop getting excited, then that's when relationships die, just like items that run out of batteries. I think now that the year's ending, it's important to think about the amount of energy that we're putting out there in the world and in the people we care about; we have to distribute that into the ones that are most important to us and learn to let go of others. It sounds tough at first but, trust me, once you let those out our your life, everything will feel lighter, you'll feel a bit more liberated, at ease.

Eso es lo que sentimos cuando vemos a nuestros seres queridos, cuando podemos pasar tiempo con esos individuos especiales.
El día que dejamos de sentir electricidad, que dejamos de emocionarnos, ahí es cuando las relaciones se mueren, justo como objetos a los que se les acaba la batería. Creo que ahora que está terminando el año, es importante pensar en la cantidad de energía que estamos llevando al mundo y hacia la gente que apreciamos; tenemos que distribuir eso en aquéllos que son más importantes para nosotros y aprender a dejar ir a los otros. Suena difícil al principio pero, creanme, una vez que que los dejas afuera de tu vida, todo se sentirá más ligero, te sentirás más liberado, en paz.
