Hey everyone! I did a new blogger team-up with a really nice and cool girl. Her name is Lilia Cortes and I met her a couple of weeks ago. She does videos on YouTube and, although her core is beauty and make-up, she also blogs about her outfits and lifestyle. She came with the idea of shooting a video for her channel featuring me and I wanted to do a photoshoot with her as well, so we ended up doing both things and it was amazing, I had a great time.

The greatest thing about teaming up with other local bloggers isn't something that you can grasp; it's all about reaching a moment of camaraderie, of happiness. Suddenly, there's someone out there who cares about pretty much the same things about you, who's worried about things like shadows or color balance or not cropping cool elements from photos. That gives me happy thoughts and, as you know from Peter Pan, happy thoughts lift you through the air.

Lilia chose the location and the brief was "autumn outfit"; the weather was dreadfully sunny but we both stuck to our choices and persevered until the end. I think the parka jacket is perfect for fall because it's a windbreaker but it's not terribly heavy or hot. Boots with socks, sweaters with shirts underneath... Think layers, embrace them and you'll be more than fine, I guarantee that.

¡Hola todos! Hice un nuevo proyecto de equipo con una niña muy linda. Se llama Lilia Cortés y la conocí hace un par de semanas. Ella hace videos en YouTube y, aunque su fuerte es belleza y maquillaje, también hace posts sobre atuendos personales y estilo de vida. Se le ocurrió hacer un video para su canal con una aparición mía y yo quise hacer fotos con ella también, así que realizamos ambas cosas y fue bien padre, me divertí mucho.

Lo mejor de hacer equipo con otros bloggers locales no es algo que se pueda tocar; se trata de alcanzar un momento de camaradería, de felicidad. De repente, hay alguien más que se preocupa por muchas cosas importantes para ti, como sombras o balance de color o no cortar elementos buenos de las fotos. Eso me hace tener pensamientos felices y, como ya lo dijo Peter Pan, los pensamientos felices te elevan por el aire.

Lilia eligió la locación y el brief era "atuendo otoñal"; el clima era horriblemente soleado pero ambos fuimos guerreros y perseveramos hasta el final. Creo que las parkas son las chamarras perfectas para el otoño porque son rompe-vientos pero no terriblemente pesados o calientes. Botas con calcetas, sweaters con camisas abajo... Piensen en capas, abracen esa idea y les irá bien, lo garantizo.
