Panam in Coyoacan

Panam is one of the few Mexican brands that have been on the rise for the last couple of years, they're a footwear brand (which is rare) and the designs are cool (which is even weirder for Mexican standards); they opened a new store a couple weeks ago in Coyoacan, a.k.a. the colonial-artsy-FridaKahlo neighborhood in the city. 

I was invited for that and, also, the launch of their Frida Kahlo inspired collection. I really like Frida's story (not necessarily her artwork), this woman was a fighter, she was tough, unbeatable. She knew what her goals were and never was defeated by her own physical limitations. She's one hell of an inspirational source.

I'm glad to see a Mexican brand like Panam expanding and getting better and better; those are the success stories that make me think that, really, anything is possible.

Me invitaron a eso y, además, al lanzamiento de su línea inspirada en Frida Kahlo. Me gusta mucho la historia de Frida (no necesariamente su trabajo como pintora), esta mujer era una luchadora, ruda, invencible. Sabía cuáles eran sus metas y nunca fue derrotada por sus limitaciones físicas. Es una bendita fuente de inspiración. 

Me alegra ver que una marca mexicana como Panam está creciendo, expandiéndose y mejorando mucho; esas son las historias de éxito que me hacen pensar que, en serio, cualquier cosa es posible.
