The mighty champion

I like the word champion, it could mean being a warrior, a fighter; also, a winner, a victor and; someone who fights publicly for a person, a cause or a belief. It's a word I use quite a lot and that means something special to me. Every time one of my friends does something right, I call him or her a champ because when someone is good at a something, it should be recognized. It's the fair thing to do.

During my whole life, I always struggled with wanting to be the best, I had a lot of pressure upon my shoulders but I was never a quitter. I always fought for me, for what I wanted and for the sweet taste of victory. I hate losing and not accomplishing my goals. Life has taught me that sometimes you win and other times you lose; but the important thing goes beyond victory or loss, it's about how you get up when things are awry; how you embody being on top and all the things you learn in between. It's all about learning and applying that knowledge to your advantage, to be a mighty champion, for yourself and for others.

Es una palabra que uso bastante y que significa algo especial para mí. Cada vez que uno de mis amigos hace algo bueno, lo llamo campeón porque cuando alguien es bueno en algo, debe ser reconocido. Es lo justo.

Durante toda mi vida, siempre lidié con querer ser el mejor, tenía mucha presión sobre mis hombros pero nunca renunciaba. Siempre luché por mí, por lo que quería y por el dulce sabor de la victoria. Odio perder y no cumplir mis metas. La vida me ha enseñado que a veces ganas y, otras, pierdes; pero lo importante va más allá de victorias y derrotas, se trata de cómo te levantas cuando las cosas están mal; de cómo apropias estar en la cima y de todas las cosas que aprendes en medio de eso. Se trata de aprender y aplicar ese conocimiento a tu ventaja, de ser un gran campeón, para ti y para los demás.
