Back to Basics. Starting October Right.

Hey guys!

You know how there are times when you have a big revelation, epiphany-ish, and that sort of things? Well, after Fashion's Night Out in Seoul (you can read all about that here), I had one of those moments. I remembered why I love writing this blog and making photo shoots. I don't really know how to explain it because I think everyone experiences it differently. I just know that I enjoy fashion very much and writing and being creative. 

That's why the monthly theme is BACK TO BASICS. When I first started this project, I didn't really grasp on the power that it would acquire within a year and a half. It has really changed my life a lot, modified my everyday routines and allowed me to have incredible experiences and memories that I'll treasure for the rest of my days.

I don't know if being far from home has made me feel sensitive in the last couple of days but I'm learning to appreciate every little good thing that happens around me. So, throughout the month, I will talk about some personal stuff and experiences like having friends and not having friends, about loving fashion and a lot of other topics related to why I started doing what I do. I hope you'll stay with me in this bittersweet beginning of autumn and keep on reading what I have to say.

The playlist reflects a bit some of those aspects. There are fun songs, angsty tunes and some other weird cool underground artists. I want you to like it, as I do with every playlist I create for you. In a sense, I think they say a little bit about myself that I can't really express with words or photos. What do you think?

¡Hola a todos!

¿Alguna vez les ha pasado que tienen una gran revelación, así como una epifanía o esas cosas del demonio? Pues, después de ir a Fashion's Night Out en Seoul (pueden leer todo al respecto aquí), me pasó y tuve uno de esos momentos. Recordé por qué amo tanto escribir este blog y hacer las sesiones de fotos. No sé bien cómo explicarlo porque creo que cada quien lo vive en diferentes maneras. Sólo sé que disfruto la moda y escribir y ser creativo.

Es por eso que el tema del mes es BACK TO BASICS. Cuando recién inicié este proyecto, no tenía idea del poder que iba a adquirir y menos en año y medio. En serio ha cambiado mucho mi vida, modificó mis rutinas diarias, y me ha permitido tener experiencias y recuerdos que atesoraré por el resto de mis días.

No sé si estar lejos de casa me ha puesto más sensible en los últimos días pero estoy aprendiendo a apreciar cada cosa buena que sucede a mi alrededor. Así que, durante el mes, hablare de cosas personales y experiencias como tener amigos (o no tener amigos), sobre amar el mundo de la moda y muchas otras cosas que envuelven mis inicios y por qué hago lo que hago. Espero se queden conmigo en el agridulce inicio de otoño y sigan leyendo lo que tengo para decir.

La lista de canciones refleja un par de esos aspectos. Hay canciones divertidas, otras no tanto pero igual de poderosas y un par de artistas no tan conocidos pero buena onda. Quiero que les guste, como con cada lista que creo para ustedes. En cierta forma, creo que dicen un poco de mi que no puedo expresar con palabras o fotos. ¿O ustedes qué opinan?
