Game of Light

I'm wearing:

1. Gray biker jacket with spikes, from Forever 21.

2. Mustard t-shirt, from Zara.

3. Super skinny jeans, from H&M.

4. Gray suede creepers, from Kr3w.

5. Black leather bracelet, from H&M.

One of the coolest things about not using a tripod and having someone helping you with photos is that there's another input into what you're doing. I was with my friend Marincke and she had the idea of play around with the light features of my camera. I think it made the photos look really nice and different and, dare I say it? Kind of cinematic.

The location helped a lot too. I can't believe that this is what my school looks like (at least the old campus), it's marvelous. I really feel like I'm in a movie, haha. I'm just waiting for the ninjas to appear or something. I also love the feel that the wooden doors and columns give. It's a nice nod to the past and traditional Korean architecture.

With this outfit, I tried to create a contrast between the old and the new. I got the super cool leather jacket at Forever 21 here in Korea and that's basically the piece that's creating said relation with the oldness of the location. But all the credit goes to Marincke and her ability to use my camera in ways that I don't know how to recreate.  Thanks Marincke!

Estaba con mi amiga Marincke y se le ocurrió mover distintas configuraciones de luz en mi cámara. Creo que hizo que las fotos se vieran padres y diferentes y, ¿me atrevo a decirlo? La locación ayudó mucho. No puedo creer que así es como luce mi escuela (al menos el viejo campus), es maravilloso. En serio me siento como en una película, jaja. Sólo estoy esperando a que aparezcan los ninjas o algo así. También amo la vibra que dan las puertas y columnas de madera. Es un buen gesto al pasado.

Con este atuendo, intenté crear un contraste entre lo viejo y lo nuevo. Conseguí la chamarra de piel súper padre en Forever 21 de Korea y es, básicamente, la pieza que crea dicha relación con la antigüedad del lugar. Pero todo el crédito va a Marincke y su habilidad de usar mi cámara en formas que no sé cómo recrear. ¡Gracias Marincke!
