The Best Is Yet To Come

Happy New Year and welcome to 2014, fellas!

My year kicked off nicely and smooth: dancing, watching fireworks and eating pancakes. How about yours? I didn't really make resolutions for the upcoming year, instead I chose to live positively and open to whatever may come to me or at least try to live that way. That's why the theme for January is "the best is yet to come"; I really feel like this is going to be a pretty big year for me filled with lots of cool things.

Looking back at all that I did in 2013, I feel like I've come a long way with this fashion blog. I'm at that stage where I'm pretty pleased with what I do and what I've done; I think this site really reflects who I am and what I'm about in a fun, casual, fashion-related way. But, of course, there's more layers of personality that I hope to share with you during the next couple of months.

For the next few weeks, I'll be focusing on staying optimistic, expecting the best and embracing the worst; that's what you'll see on the posts. Let's try and make this month a good kick-starter for the rest of the year because, I truly believe, the best is yet to come.

Mi año empezó bastante bien y sin problemas: bailando, viendo fuegos artificiales y comiendo hot cakes. ¿Qué tal el suyo? Decidí no hacer propósitos para el año que entra, en vez de eso decidí vivir positivamente y abierto a lo que venga a mi o al menos intentar vivir así. Por eso el tema de enero es "lo mejor aún está por venir"; en serio siento que éste va a ser un año grande para mi, lleno de muchas cosas padres.

Viendo todo lo que hice en 2013, siento que este blog ha avanzado un largo tramo. Estoy en un punto donde me siento bastante satisfecho con lo que hago y lo que he hecho; creo que este sitio realmente refleja quién soy y cómo me comporto en una forma divertida, casual y, por supuesto, relacionada con moda. Pero, por supuesto, hay muchas más capas de mi personalidad que espero compartir con ustedes durante los siguientes meses.

Para las siguientes semanas, el plan es enfocarme en ser optimista, esperar lo mejor y asimilar lo peor; eso es lo que verán en los posts. Tratemos de hacer de este mes una buena patada de inicio para el resto del año porque, en serio creo, lo mejor aún está por venir.
