February: The City Life.

Welcome, welcome. February is here,

A new month is upon us and this is a special one for me because it marks the first anniversary of my monthly themes. A year ago, I started this whole thing by homaging the greatest teenage girls (real or fictional) and, now, I feel it's time to pay tribute to another of the biggest inspiration sources I have: the city.

Whether it's Mexico City, Seoul, Los Angeles or Tokyo, I always find myself comfortable in big cities. There's a lot to do, tons of things to see... I'm a city guy and I've always been one; I like the countryside, of course, but I don't think I can function properly outside a big city. If you live or been to one, you'll know exactly what I mean. There's something about the chaos, the frenetic lifestyle, the interesting characters, that appeal to me in so many ways.

This month, the photoshoots and places you'll see on my pictures revolve around the idea of big cities, the streets, the lifestyle of a city guy. Of course, the usual things will also be present: fashion events, a how-to guide and an editorial at the end of the month. The playlist is all about the city life and how I feel by being right in the middle of it. Hope you enjoy what's to come.

Bienvenidos, bienvenidos, febrero está aquí,

Un nuevo mes está sobre nosotros y éste es especial para mi porque marca el primer aniversario de mis temas mensuales. Hace un año, comencé todo esto homenajeando a las niñas adolescentes más buena onda (reales o ficticias) y, ahora, siento que es momento de rendir tributo a otra de las más grandes fuentes de inspiración que tengo: la ciudad.

Sea Ciudad de México, Seoul, Los Ángeles o Tokyo, siempre encuentro que me siento cómodo en las grandes ciudades. Hay mucho que hacer, tantas cosas que ver... Soy un chavito de ciudad y siempre lo he sido; me gusta la naturaleza, por supuesto, pero no creo que pueda funcionar muy bien fuera de una ciudad grande. Si viven o han ido a una, sabrán exactamente a lo que me refiero. Hay algo sobre el caos, el modo de vida tan frenético, los personajes interesantes, que se me hace interesante en muchas maneras.

Este mes, las sesiones fotográficas y lugares que verán en mis fotos giran en torno a la idea de grandes ciudades, las calles, el estilo de vida de un chavito de ciudad. Por supuesto, las cosas usuales estarán presentes: eventos de moda, guía de estilo y un editorial al final del mes. La lista de canciones se creó pensando en la vida en la ciudad y cómo me siento en medio de ella. Espero que disfruten lo que viene.
