Any Other World...

Wisdom #41 Any Other World
I'd like to think that we, as individuals, each possess a sense of what's right and what's wrong, about what's worth making a big deal out of and what's not... yet, every time I face a situation that requires, how to say it? Mmm... conflict managing (perhaps) things get rough. I don't like fighting, I really don't, it brings out a side of me that I try to keep under control but, still, I definitely hate losing and feeling like people are taking advantage of me. So where does that leave me?

In any other world, I would be the guy that's really nice towards everyone and never has a conflict. In the world we live in, people mistake that for treachery, they call me fake or sneaky. If I don't tell you, don't assume is the motto that I've been wanting to live by recently. So, I guess until people stop trying to make everything about them and get pissed because of things you said (even when you weren't referring to them or didn't say it maliciously), the best answer is to either reach out and explain what's going on, or ignore everything and move on... What suits you best?

Love always,
Henry.
