Deja Vu 2
Does this setting look familiar? That's because, last summer, I shot an outfit post here (check it out, if you haven't already!). I'm usually against repeating locations because I feel like it's an excuse to not doing my job, I always try to find new cool spots that I haven't shown to you guys before but I have to say, there are exceptions, especially when I travel, and this mural is a big one.

Last time I was here, I remember everything flowed perfectly, the lighting was on point, no people were around, my outfit was good... That shoot went very smoothly. This time around, things were a bit different: the light wasn't perfect, my outfit was cool but my hair needed some work... I don't know, it was the same but it didn't feel the same, you know what I mean? In the end, I really liked the photos and I think I started off this trip to Sacramento on the right foot, but that's not the end of the story.

Tons of people think of creativity and originality as finding something no one has before, creating new things; and some of that is right but I also feel like repeating things and changing certain elements of the activity can also count as creating something original. It's about rearranging what's already there because, let's face it, it's extremely difficult to find completely new products, especially when it comes to blogging and photography. I would like it if people started seeing things that way, thinking about originality as something flexible and not necessarily as something totally new, wouldn't you?
