Abandoned Playground

I'm wearing:

1. Denim vest in acid wash, from Forever 21.
2. Plaid sleeveless shirt, from H&M.
3. Super skinny jeans in black, from Asos.
4. Leather sneakers, from Gourmet Shoes.
5. Pegasi necklace, from H&M.
6. Geometric bracelet, from Codes Combine Korea.
7. Rings, from H&M.
The amount of space and time that we waste over the years never cease to amaze me. For these photos, I chose another funny spot on my East Coast (Merida) house. This construction was supposed to be a complex of apartments for students (there's an important university 10 minutes away from my house) and, for one reason or another, it never materialized as that.

Instead, my sister and cousins (even my nephews, that I like to call "cousins" to feel young, haha)  and I adapted it to be a sort of playground. You see, in Merida the heat is unbearable so, at times, the only answer was to play outside after the sunset. We used to play hide-and-seek in this place... Now everyone's all grown up and this strange construction became an abandoned playground.

I think it's important to look thoroughly at things, find what we have and make the most out of it. This "waste of space" looked cool on photos but it doesn't function anymore, there's no utility left. I don't want to inherit those traits from my family and become a visionary that never accomplishes things. No, no. Fashion-wise, I chose the colors that suited the construction best; this was an outfit for going to a club downtown. The weather obligated me to wear no sleeves.

Love always,
Hen.
