H&M Studio SS16 Private View

It's no secret that H&M is probably my favourite brand in the whole world and, although I sometimes like high-end goods, I'm more of a fast-fashion kind of guy. If you're familiar with the brand, you'll know that H&M releases several special collections per year, like Conscious Exclusive or the guest designer collection and; (also the focus on this post) Studio. I was invited to the private view of this collection at H&M's headquarters and it was amazing.

H&M Studio is probably one of the collections I like best because it always has an expensive flare and look with affordable prices. I'll focus on the menswear but, since it was also there, I will tell you that the womenswear collection is more on the resort kind of side; like a bohemian-relaxed trip filled warm colours and flowing fabrics.

Menswear this season is completely redefining sportswear and sports luxe; it's about giving new life to classic pieces: boxy t-shirts, rounder jackets, shorter trousers. I love that the colour palette is kind of mute with blue, brown, grey and beige pieces. This is more of an urban traveler, a guy that is very functional and sharp when it comes to style. Needless to say, I love it. It really fits my aesthetic and everything comes in my favourite colours. This collection will sell across the globe but only at flagship stores starting on February 25th.

Si están familiarizados con la marca, sabrán que H&M lanza varias colecciones especiales al año, como Conscious Exclusive o la colección con diseñadores invitados y; (el foco de este post) Studio. Me invitaron a una vista privada de esta colección en los cuarteles generales de H&M y fue lo máximo.

H&M Studio es probablemtne una de las colecciones que más me gustan porque siempre tiene un aire de ser costoso pero con precios accesibles. Me voy a enfocar en la ropa de hombre pero, ya que también estaba ahí, les diré que la colección de mujer está más en el lado resort; como un viaje relajado y bohemio lleno de colores cálidos y telas ligeras.

La ropa de hombre esta temporada está completamente redefiniendo lo deportivo y el deporte de lujo; se trata de darle nueva vida a prendas clásicas: playeras con un talle más amplio, chamarras más redondeadas, pantalones más cortos. Me encanta que la paleta de colores es bastante natural con piezas en azul, beige, café y gris. Esto es más como un viajero urbano, un hombre funcional pero preciso cuando se trata de estilo. No es necesario que lo diga, amé todo. Realmente encaja con mi estética y todo viene en mis colores favoritos. Esta colección se venderá en todo el mundo pero sólo en las tiendas flagship comenzando el 25 de febrero.
