We're good at many things...
Each of us has a specific set of skills, assets, stuff that makes us special and stand out in life. Some people are born with specific talents: they have a good voice, they're particularly good looking, stuff like that; some hone certain skills and, by practicing, get better and better every day. If needed, we could separate humans in four different categories: rookies, seniors, in development and not interested.
This classification is important because February's theme is about the dynamics between rookies and seniors (I'll also talk about the latter two categories but not as thoroughly). I've been a blogger for quite a while; this website just turned 5 and, along the way, I've met people that fall into the rookie or the senior category. I'm a rookie in many aspects of life but, in others, I can be a senior.
I've been thinking a lot about my strengths and weaknesses, the things that I want to accomplish and, most importantly, plans of action, ways to get where I want to be. I'm at a point in my life where I truly want to make a difference, to give something to the world, even if it's something as trivial as daily entertainment; that's why I'll work really hard and make great content for February, just wait and see. Somos buenos en muchas cosas...
Cada quien tiene un set específico de habilidades, cualidades, cosas que nos hacen especiales y que destacan en la vida. Algunas personas nacen con talentos específicos: tienen buena voz, son particularmente atractivos, cosas así; otros pulen ciertas habilidades, practicando, mejoran cada día. Si fuera necesario, podríamos separar a los humanos en cuatro categorías distintas: novatos, seniors (o personas que están más avanzadas en ciertas cosas), en desarrollo y no interesados.
Esta clasificación es importante porque el tema de febrero es sobre las dinámicas entre novatos y seniors (también hablaré un poco de las otras dos categorías pero no tan a profundidad). He sido blogger por mucho tiempo; esta página acaba de cumplir 5 años y, en el camino, he conocido gente que cae en la categoría de novatos y en la de seniors. Yo soy un novato para muchas cosas pero, en otros aspectos de la vida, también soy un senior.
He estado pensando mucho en mis fortalezas y debilidades, las cosas que quiero conseguir y, más importante aún, planes de acción, estrategias para llegar a donde quiero estar. Estoy en un punto de mi vida donde quiero hacer una diferencia, darle algo al mundo, aún si es algo tan trivial como entretenimiento diario; por eso me voy a esforzar mucho y crearé gran contenido para febrero, esperen lo verán.
