February: Fashion & Style

It's been a crazy ride, my friends... 

I can't believe I've been doing this for for years. Who would've guessed?! I'm going to tell you a little secret: I don't read blogs, never have and probably never will. That's why it feels so weird to be a blogger who's been in this business (we can actually call it business now) for four years. It started as a hobby, a way of expressing and sharing my style choices but now it is so much more. Now it's a place where I can write freely, create amazing projects and have a lot of fun.

The first time I did a collaboration with a brand I was skeptical, I thought it would be a scam (it wasn't, haha). The first time I went to a fashion event was because I crashed it and I must have sounded ridiculous back then. Like I said, it's been a crazy ride, filled with amazing things, incredible people and tons of new friends. I mean, it also has been tough at times, and it's difficult to write and take photos when you don't feel like it but I think I have a duty with the people that read and watch me. I'm doing this for you guys, as much as I'm doing it for me.

For February, I wanted to go back to where it all started. This was, primarily, a fashion blog, a style and inspiration website... And it kind of drifted into a nicer path, it became a place where I can talk about many of my loves. But for this month, I'm digging into the roots of this blog and focusing on fashion and style. You might see content that you thought I no longer was making but it will be infused with experience and knowledge. I also created a playlist, as usual, with the songs I've been listening non-stop lately (lots of K-Pop, haha). You can hear it by clicking here or going to my YouTube channel.

Ha sido una locura, mis amigos... 

No puedo creer que he estado haciendo esto por cuatro años. ¡¿Quién lo hubiera pensado?! Les voy a contar un pequeño secreto: No leo blogs, nunca lo he hecho y probablemente nunca lo haré. Por eso se sentir tan raro ser un blogger que ha estado en este negocio (porque ya podemos decirle negocio) por cuatro años. Comenzó como un hobby, una forma de expresar y compartir mis elecciones de estilo pero ahora es mucho más. Ahora es un lugar en el que puedo escribir libremente, crear proyectos bien padres y divertirme mucho.

La primera vez que hice una colaboración con una marca, me dio miedo, pensé que iba a ser una estaba (y no lo fue, jaja). La primera vez que fui a un evento de moda fue porque me colé y seguro soné ridículo allá en el día. Como dije, ha sido una locura, llena de cosas bien padres, gente increíble y mucho nuevos amigos. Digo, también ha sido difícil a veces, y es terrible escribir y tomar fotos cuando no te sientes bien pero creo que tengo una obligación con al gente que me lee y me ve. Estoy haciendo esto por ustedes, tanto como lo estoy haciendo por mí.

Para febrero, quise regresar al inicio de todo. Éste era, primordialmente, un blog de moda, una página de estilo e inspiración... Y como que se movió hacia un mejor camino, se convirtió en un lugar donde puedo hablar de muchas cosas que amo. Pero por este mes, estoy cavando hasta las raíces de este blog y enfocándome en moda y estilo. Quizá vean contenido que creían que ya no hacía pero estará dotado con experiencia y conocimiento. También, como de costumbre, creé una lista de canciones con las que no he dejado de escuchar últimamente (mucho K-Pop, jaja). Pueden escucharla haciendo click aquí o yendo a mi canal de YouTube.
