I realised recently that it's very important to be brave and take all the opportunities that come your way. Being in Japan has taught me that I need to have this "eat the world is possible" attitude and that the biggest obstacle in my life journey (excluding bureaucracy and stupidity) is myself. I discovered that I can go as far as I wish, I can accomplish many things just by being confident and having faith in me.
"Fake it 'til you make it" is a phrase that I've heard many times in the past but I never took seriously and, guess what, it's a universal truth, no matter how silly it sounds. If you act like a confident person, people will take you more seriously; if you behave and respect others, they will start appreciating and helping you. You need to act like you're a king, like you rule the world. And, being honest, that's an attitude that will take you far, because you'll start believing that everything is possible.
I want to explore this theme during April because it's something that I recently acknowledged. So, throughout the month, I will tell you about specific scenarios where my "rule the world" philosophy has been put into use. Expect many, many more outfits and stories from Japan, plus, life journals, book clubs and many other great things I got prepared for you. Hace poco me di cuenta que es muy importante ser valientes y tomar todas las oportunidades que vengan en nuestro camino. Estar en Japón me ha enseñado que es necesario tener esta actitud de "el mundo es tuyo" y que el obstáculo más grande en mi viaje por la vida (excluyendo la burocracia y la estupidez) soy yo mismo. Descubrí que puedo ir tan lejos como lo desee, puedo cumplir muchos objetivos sólo con ser seguro y tener fé en mí.
"Fake it 'til you make it" es una frase que he escuchado mucho en el pasado pero nunca tomé con seriedad y, adivinen qué, es una verdad universal, no importa qué tan tonto suene. Si actúan como una persona segura, la gente los tomará más en serio; si se comportan y respetan a los demás, empezarán a apreciarlos y a ayudarlos. Es necesario actuar como si fuésemos reyes, como si domináramos el mundo. Y, siendo honestos, es una actitud que te lleva lejos, porque empiezas a creer que todo es posible.
Quiero explorar este tema durante abril porque es algo de lo que me di cuenta recientemente. Así que, a lo largo del mes, les contaré sobre escenarios específicos donde he usado mi filosofía de "dominar al mundo". Esperen muchos, muchos más atuendos e historias desde Japón, además de diarios de vida, book clubs y muchas otras cosas padres que les tengo preparadas.
